Enhance Your Figure with Body Lift Surgery

Body lift surgery can lead to a slimmer and more pleasing figure by improving the shape and tone of your entire body. The procedure removes excess skin and underlying fat and may be performed as a final step after significant weight loss. In other cases, it addresses sagging fat and skin caused by age and poor tissue elasticity.

The Body Lift Procedure

A full body lift generally takes between 6 and 8 hours to complete. You will be under general anesthesia during the procedure.

During recovery, moderate discomfort and soreness can be expected. Prescription or over-the-counter medication can control any pain or discomfort as you heal.

Spending at least one night at a recovery facility after your procedure would be best. This is especially important if you’ve traveled out of town for your procedure.

Recovery and Results

Although you will still be healing, you can typically expect to return to work in 2 to 3 weeks.

After 4 to 6 weeks, most can resume normal activities. However, throughout your recovery period, you must wear compression bandages and garments that will support your healing. This is the correct way to manage your aftercare and allow your wounds and musculature to settle and heal properly, ensuring the best possible and longest-lasting results.
